A September Pittsburgh wedding

For her recent wedding to William, Hollynn chose to carry a hand-tied bouquet of white and ivory flowers, which included hydrangea, roses, lisianthus, stock and astilbe. The flowers were accented with seeded and silver dollar eucalyptus.Bride's BouquetHollyn and William's reception was held at the Renaissance Hotel. Centerpieces alternated between tall and low arrangements. The tall arrangements contained mostly greenery with some white and ivory flower accents. The foliage included seeded eucalyptus, silver dollar eucalyptus and Italian ruscus.Renaissance Hotel flowers

The low centerpieces consisted of groupings of glass cylinders containing floating candles, white hydrangea and ivory roses.

Here's to another Ludwig wedding!

Dan and Sarah were recently wed in St. Paul's Cathedral and enjoyed a fabulous reception at the Duquesne Club. Of course, if it was a Ludwig wedding, the flowers had to be exquisite!St Pauls Cathedral flowers

White flowers adorned the sanctuary of St. Paul's Cathedral, with white hydrangea marking the front pews.

Our wedding season is winding down! This weekend we have only two weddings on our calendar, with two entirely different looks. Our Friday wedding features a bride's bouquet that is lush and organic. It contains red and ivory roses, blush spray roses, blush astilbe, pink ranunculus, burgundy hypericum and seeded eucalyptus.Saturday's wedding features a bride's bouquet that is sophisticated and elegant. It contains ivory roses and white hydrangea, and is accented with metallic silver and gold foliage and curly ting. Two entirely different looks, but both beautiful!

One of our recent weddings featured this bride's bouquet with a very organic, "fresh picked from the garden" look. It is composed of medium pink roses, dark pink spray roses, light pink carnations, pink sweet pea, light blue delphinium, green hypericum and seeded eucalyptus.

It's been a whirlwind wedding season here at the Blumengarten! Frankly, what with attending to multiple weddings each weekend, there never seems to be enough time to take photos and write blog posts. In November the wedding season quiets down a bit. The cooler weather brings out looks for our brides that are quite different from the lush garden flowers of summer. This bridal bouquet is a fabulous choice for the winter months. It features white hydrangea, roses, limmonium and star of Bethlehem.  Frosty, glittery accents are added with the addition of silver seeded eucalyptus and frosted pine cones. Beautiful!
